Services Description
Credit2Credit provides the following services:
- Rent Reporting: Reporting rent payments to credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion)
- Credit Card Recommendations: Personalized credit card offers and comparisons
- Credit Tools: Credit score calculators, bill tracking, and financial planning tools
- Credit Monitoring: Integration with SmartCredit for credit monitoring services
- AI Credit Advisor: Personalized credit advice and recommendations
- Affiliate Program: Revenue-sharing program for partners
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- You may not share your account with others
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
Rent Reporting Service
Service Terms
- Rent reporting requires accurate lease and payment information
- You authorize us to connect to your bank account via Plaid to verify rent payments
- Reporting typically begins within 30 days of verification
- Past rent payments may be reported (up to 24 months) if verified
- Future reporting continues monthly while your account is active
Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate lease and landlord information
- Maintain sufficient funds for monthly service fees
- Notify us of any changes to your lease or payment information
- Ensure rent payments are made on time (we report actual payment data)
Important Disclaimers
- We cannot guarantee specific credit score increases
- Credit score impact varies by individual credit profile
- Late or missed rent payments will be reported negatively
- Credit bureaus control how they process reported data
Pricing and Payment
- Smart Credit Plan: Free rent reporting with SmartCredit subscription
- Premium Plan: $6/month (or custom affiliate pricing) + optional one-time setup fee
- Payments are processed automatically via credit card or bank transfer
- Fees are non-refundable except as required by law
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
- Failure to pay may result in service suspension and reporting cessation
Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel your rent reporting service at any time
- Cancellation stops future rent reporting (past reports remain on credit bureaus)
- No refunds for partial months or previously reported data

- Account deletion removes your data per our Privacy Policy
Credit Card Offers
We display credit card offers from various issuers. Important information:
- We may earn affiliate commissions when you apply through our links
- Card approval is determined solely by the issuer, not by us
- APRs, fees, and terms are set by card issuers and subject to change
- Approval odds are estimates based on data, not guarantees
- Credit inquiries may impact your credit score
- We are not responsible for issuer decisions or card terms
Affiliate Program
Separate Affiliate Agreement terms apply. Key points:
- Affiliates must be approved before earning commissions
- Commissions are based on verified conversions
- Fraudulent activity results in immediate termination
- Payouts require minimum threshold amounts
- Custom pricing must be approved by Credit2Credit
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of our Services are owned by Credit2Credit LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use our Services for illegal purposes
- Scrape or harvest data from our platform
- Interfere with or disrupt our Services
- Submit fraudulent rent payment information
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Our Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for credit score changes, approval denials, or financial losses
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
- We are not responsible for third-party service failures (banks, credit bureaus, etc.)
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Credit2Credit LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.
Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State]
